Substance Use Disorders

Dependence on a substance, such as alcohol or drugs. It’s usually characterized by impaired control over and preoccupation with the use of the substance, as well as continued use of the substance despite negative consequences.

Mood Disorders

A type of mental disorder that primarily affects mood and interferes with the ability to function, such as major depressive disorder, anxiety and bipolar disorder. Also called mood disorders.

Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is guided hypnosis, or a trance-like state of focus and concentration achieved with the help of a clinical hypnotherapist. This trance-like state is similar to being completely absorbed in a book, movie, music, or even one’s own thoughts or meditations. In this state, clients can turn their attention completely inward to find and utilize the natural resources deep within themselves that can help them make changes or regain control in certain areas of their life.
Copendency

An excessive emotional or psychological reliance on any person/people characterized by a dysfunctional pattern of obsession with controlling another’s behavior and feelings at the expense of their own self-care and wellbeing. This often leads to symptom of depression, anxiety, helplessness, frustration, and emotional exhaustion. These feelings are worsened by continued perpetual and futile attempts to control, rescue, and enable which causes damage in functioning in every of the codependent’s life, ultimately leading to debilitating physical and mental health disorders. It could also be considered as a state of relationship dependence or relationship addition.

Relapse Prevention Groups

A psychoeducational therapy group designed to educate clients with skills and strategies that will provide the necessary strategies and techniques to avoid relapse and return to unhealthy addictive and/or compulsive behaviors.

Clinical Training

Education and training of healthcare professionals to increase knowledge of clinical skills and interventions. It is focused on providing participants the clinical theory and training necessary to improve the effectiveness and efficacy of their practice.

Community Workshops

Presentations to the general public in a variety of forums and gatherings, such as, schools, public agencies, and religious organizations. designed to educate the participants on specific topics and issues that are pertinent identified topics (such as: Addiction, Mental Illness, Relationship Dependence, Treatment Options)
